The Club is saddened to report the death of Chris Machin, a friend and keen supporter of the Club. Chris was for many years the ‘hands on’ owner of Outdoor Wear in Bishop’s Stortford and was a lifelong supporter of Coventry City.

In recent years he was a season ticket holder at Spurs. Chris was also a keen follower of both Kent and Essex County Cricket Clubs especially in the County Championship.

He enjoyed his visits to Chelmsford along with Squin Clarke, DPR and Rodney Stock which had to include a circuit of the ground after lunch.
